It is grad season. In Fernie, one of the most obvious indicators of this (and, dare I say it, annoying indicators – sorry grads!) is the 6:00 a.m. honking and hollering session that occurs the morning after the last day of classes. What is this you ask? The grads literally drive around town at the crack of dawn honking their horns and yelling. We have adjusted to this tradition, and prepare for it by praying that our 2 and a half year-old and 6 month old do not wake up. This year they didn’t, so hooray!
We have had the great privilege of photographing two beautiful grads from Sparwood this year, and will be doing a few more grad shoots before the summer is out. We wanted to help the grads celebrate their rite of passage by profiling their shoot on our blog. I have to say that I really enjoyed Taylor and Jade’s dresses, and relived my own graduation vicariously by seeing them all dolled up (Kevan and I were calculating that it has been 14 years since we graduated high school – yeesh!).
So, without further ado, here are a few photos of Taylor and Jade, Class of 2013.
