If you’re like me, gifts are becoming less and less about the thing itself, and more about the person giving it. For example, I derive a lot more pleasure from a coffee from Starbucks when someone has bought me a Starbucks card. Can I buy my own coffee? Sure! Is it more enjoyable when someone else’s thoughtfulness and generosity is in my mind while I drink it? Definitely.
The gift of boudoir is exactly like that. The photographs are so exquisitely beautiful, but the gift is more meaningful than that. When you give the gift of boudoir to a partner or spouse, you are giving that person your confidence and vulnerability. You are owning yourself, which frees your partner to enjoy you. He doesn’t have to fight against your insecurities because you have let them go (a thing that happens when you’re being photographed). It is a pretty cool gift.
Here are some beautiful photographs from a recent shoot we did. Thanks so much to C for letting us share a few with you!
