As a woman, I literally see myself differently every day.  One day, I’ll feel fit and slim and when I look in the mirror, that’s what I see.  The next day, I’ll feel flabby and bloated and when I look in the mirror, that’s what I see.  From one day to the next, my eyes will see me as 20lbs lighter or heavier than the day before.  How is that possible?  Is it just me or do you experience the same illusion?

And it is often just that: an illusion.  When you look in the mirror, you don’t always see the facts.  You interpret yourself through the lens of stress and fatigue some days, and through success and joy other days.  Your own perception can’t always be trusted so sometimes, you need to step outside yourself to see yourself through a different lens.

And that’s what our job is all about.  We help you shed the layers of expectation, negativity, and self-recrimination so that you can see yourself as beautiful and worthy of positive attention.  You can’t always do that for yourself.
